Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. Introduction
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the general policy of Pravriddhi Tech Solutions ("Pravriddhi", "we", "us" or "our") regarding cancellations, refunds and payments for products and services supplied by Pravriddhi.
Pravriddhi primarily provides technology products, installation, implementation, configuration, integration, consultancy and related professional services.
The website is primarily an information and enquiry platform and is not intended to operate as an online store.
2. General Refund Policy
Payments made to Pravriddhi for products, services, installations, implementation work, consultancy or other business engagements are generally not refundable once the relevant procurement, work or project activity has commenced.
This reflects the nature of Pravriddhi's business, where products may be procured specifically for a customer and services may involve planning, procurement, scheduling, configuration, installation, integration or deployment resources.
Where cancellation is requested before relevant procurement or work has commenced, Pravriddhi will consider the request in accordance with Section 3 and the applicable terms of the engagement.
3. Cancellation Before Work or Procurement Commences
A customer may request cancellation before the relevant work or procurement process has commenced.
Where cancellation is requested before commencement, Pravriddhi will review the circumstances and, where a refund or adjustment is appropriate, may deduct reasonable costs or commitments already incurred, including:
whether products have already been ordered or procured;
supplier cancellation or restocking charges;
work already performed;
- third-party commitments;
non-recoverable expenses;
and the agreed terms of the particular engagement.
A cancellation request does not automatically create a right to a full refund. Pravriddhi will communicate the applicable outcome based on the circumstances and the terms of the engagement.
4. Products Procured Specifically for a Customer
Products procured specifically against a customer's confirmed requirement may not be eligible for cancellation or refund once procurement has commenced.
This may include:
- CCTV equipment;
- networking equipment;
- security systems;
- smart-home equipment;
- automation equipment;
- access-control equipment;
- specialised components;
- and other products ordered specifically for a customer.
Where a supplier permits cancellation or return, Pravriddhi may consider the available remedy after accounting for applicable supplier charges and other non-recoverable costs.
5. Installation and Professional Services
Payments relating to services that have already commenced are generally non-refundable.
- site assessment;
- system design;
- consultancy;
- engineering;
- installation;
- configuration;
- commissioning;
- programming;
- integration;
- testing;
- troubleshooting;
- and other professional or technical services.
Where work has been performed, the corresponding charges will not ordinarily be refundable.
6. Advance Payments
Where an advance payment is required for a project, the advance may be used towards:
- procurement;
- project planning;
- scheduling;
- engineering;
- installation preparation;
- third-party commitments;
- or other project-related costs.
Once associated procurement or project activity has commenced, the advance payment will generally be non-refundable.
The commercial terms applicable to a particular project may be stated separately in the quotation, proposal, purchase order, work order or invoice.
7. Defective Products or Deficient Services
The general no-refund position does not remove any remedy that may be available to a customer under:
- applicable law;
- a manufacturer's warranty;
- an applicable service warranty;
- the agreed terms of a particular engagement;
- or another legally enforceable obligation.
Where a product is covered by a manufacturer's warranty, Pravriddhi will assist the customer in accordance with the applicable warranty terms and its role with the relevant manufacturer or distributor.
Where a service is found to involve a deficiency attributable to Pravriddhi, Pravriddhi may, depending on the circumstances and applicable obligations, provide an appropriate corrective remedy.
A corrective remedy does not automatically mean that the entire project payment is refundable.
8. Change of Mind or Change in Requirement
A customer will not ordinarily be entitled to a refund merely because:
- the customer has changed their mind;
- the customer's requirements have changed;
- the customer no longer wishes to proceed;
- the customer has selected an alternative product;
- the customer no longer requires the service;
- the customer's circumstances have changed.
Any exception will be subject to the terms of the particular engagement and applicable law.
9. Delays
- product availability;
- manufacturer or distributor delays;
- logistics;
- site readiness;
- customer-requested changes;
- access restrictions;
- third-party dependencies;
- force majeure events;
- or other circumstances outside Pravriddhi's reasonable control
Delays caused by the circumstances listed above do not automatically create a right to a refund.
Where a material delay occurs, Pravriddhi will endeavour to communicate the situation and work towards a reasonable resolution.
10. Customer-Caused Cancellation or Delay
Where a project is delayed or cancelled because of circumstances attributable to the customer, including lack of site readiness, access restrictions, requested changes or failure to provide required information, Pravriddhi may recover reasonable costs already incurred.
Such costs may include:
- procurement commitments;
- transportation;
- labour;
- site visits;
- engineering work;
- cancellation or restocking charges;
- third-party charges;
- and other non-recoverable project expenses.
11. Refunds Required by Applicable Law
Nothing in this Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or waive any refund, replacement, correction or other remedy that Pravriddhi is required to provide under applicable law.
Where a mandatory legal right or remedy applies, the applicable legal requirement will prevail over this Policy.
12. Refunds Approved by Pravriddhi
Where Pravriddhi agrees to provide a refund as an exception, or where a refund is required under applicable law, the refund will normally be initiated within 7 business days of approval, subject to completion of any required verification.
The refund will normally be made using the original payment method where reasonably practicable.
The time taken for the refunded amount to appear in the customer's account may depend on the payment method, bank, payment provider or other intermediary and may therefore differ from Pravriddhi's processing time.
Where applicable law requires a shorter or otherwise specific timeframe, the applicable legal requirement will prevail.
13. Cancellation Requests
Cancellation requests should be submitted as early as possible.
Requests may be sent to:
Email: info@pravriddhitech.com
The request should include:
- customer name;
- quotation, order or invoice reference, where available;
- relevant product or service;
- reason for cancellation, where appropriate;
- contact details.
Submission of a cancellation request does not itself constitute acceptance of cancellation.
Pravriddhi will review the request and communicate the applicable outcome.
14. Project-Specific Terms
Where a quotation, proposal, purchase order, work order, invoice or service agreement contains specific cancellation, refund, warranty or commercial terms, those terms will apply to the relevant engagement to the extent legally valid.
Customers are encouraged to review the applicable commercial terms before making payment.
